And what better way to start than with my favorite painting from 2010, Royal Jelly.
Royal Jelly is 11x14 inches, made of mixed media, and (unfortunately for you) not for sale. Not yet at least, as I'm still quite attached to it and all that is to follow.
In case you were wondering, royal jelly is the substance secreted by worker bees to feed to larvae and the queen bee (hence the name). Technically when you buy royal jelly I believe it is only supposed to be this secretion but I'm not sure how they're supposed to separate it from the larvae...part of me thinks they just process the larvae with it and don't talk about it. Anyways, what-some-people-would-call-food for thought.
